What UnfoldCX does with the information you send through this website, and what it doesn't collect.

Who we are
UnfoldCX is a customer experience consultancy based in Dublin, Ireland. UnfoldCX is the data controller for this website. You can reach us at info@unfoldcx.com.
What we collect
This site collects personal data only when you choose to send it.
- Contact form: your name, work email address, organisation and whatever you write in the message. Our form provider, Resend, passes the message to us by email.
- Email: anything you send to info@unfoldcx.com.
What we don't collect
This site sets no tracking cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. Fonts and scripts are served from this site, so reading it sends nothing to third parties.
As with any website, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and reliability.
Why we use it, and the legal basis
We use what you send to reply to you and, if you ask, to prepare a proposal. Under the GDPR the legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)) and, where you ask for a proposal, taking steps at your request before entering a contract (Article 6(1)(b)).
We don't add you to a mailing list, and we don't sell or share your details for marketing.
Who processes it for us
Our contact form, email and website hosting are provided by third-party companies, which process data on our behalf and under contract. Where a provider stores data outside the European Economic Area, we rely on the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries that don't lead to work for up to three years after our last contact with you, then delete them. Records of work we do for clients are kept for as long as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to its use, or to send it to you in a portable format. Email info@unfoldcx.com and we'll respond within one month.
You also have the right to complain to the Data Protection Commission in Ireland, at dataprotection.ie, or to the supervisory authority where you live.
Changes to this notice
We'll update this page if what we do changes. The date at the top shows the current version.
